Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tsp Sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Olive oil spray
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Optional: sesame seeds or fresh herbs (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 400°F and let it preheat for 3-5 minutes.
- Prepare the Salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season lightly with garlic powder and a pinch of salt.
- Cook the Salmon: Spray the air fryer basket lightly with olive oil. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the basket, ensuring they are spaced apart. Air fry at 400°F for 7-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth. Adjust spice level as desired.
- Assemble: Transfer cooked salmon to a serving plate. Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the top of each fillet.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped green onions and optional sesame seeds or herbs over the top. Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.
Notes
- Storage: Store salmon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Keep sauce separate for best results.
- Reheating: Reheat salmon in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes. Sauce can be served cold or slightly warmed.
- Variations:
- Swap salmon for shrimp, chicken, or tofu.
- Serve over cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles for a low-carb option.
- Use gluten-free sweet chili sauce for a gluten-free recipe.
