  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 wraps 1x

Description

Indulge in BBQ Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger Wraps—cheesy mac and cheese, juicy burger patties, and crispy bacon wrapped in a warm tortilla. Perfect for game nights, family dinners, or a hearty comfort meal. Ready in 35 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 strips cooked bacon
  • 2 cups mac and cheese (prepared)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for pan-frying)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Form into four patties, slightly smaller than the tortillas.
  2. Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. Crisp the Bacon: In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
  4. Make the Mac & Cheese: If not already prepared, cook macaroni according to package instructions, then mix with cheese sauce until creamy.
  5. Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat, placing a cooked burger patty in the center. Top with a spoonful of mac and cheese, a strip or two of bacon, a drizzle of BBQ sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Fold and Seal: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly like a burrito.
  7. Pan-Fry for Crispiness: Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the wrap seam-side down and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes per side.
  8. Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the pan, let cool slightly, and slice in half before serving.

Notes

  • Spicy Kick: Add jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce for extra heat.
  • Vegetarian Option: Swap the beef patty with a plant-based alternative and use vegetarian bacon.
  • Different Cheeses: Try pepper jack, gouda, or mozzarella for a unique flavor.
  • Crunch Factor: Add crispy fried onions or pickles inside the wrap for extra crunch.
  • Low-Carb Alternative: Use a lettuce wrap instead of a tortilla.
