Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 strips cooked bacon
- 2 cups mac and cheese (prepared)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter or oil (for pan-frying)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Form into four patties, slightly smaller than the tortillas.
- Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Set aside.
- Crisp the Bacon: In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
- Make the Mac & Cheese: If not already prepared, cook macaroni according to package instructions, then mix with cheese sauce until creamy.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat, placing a cooked burger patty in the center. Top with a spoonful of mac and cheese, a strip or two of bacon, a drizzle of BBQ sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Fold and Seal: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly like a burrito.
- Pan-Fry for Crispiness: Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the wrap seam-side down and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes per side.
- Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the pan, let cool slightly, and slice in half before serving.
Notes
- Spicy Kick: Add jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce for extra heat.
- Vegetarian Option: Swap the beef patty with a plant-based alternative and use vegetarian bacon.
- Different Cheeses: Try pepper jack, gouda, or mozzarella for a unique flavor.
- Crunch Factor: Add crispy fried onions or pickles inside the wrap for extra crunch.
- Low-Carb Alternative: Use a lettuce wrap instead of a tortilla.
