Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz beef (sirloin, flank steak, or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (for marinade)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup snow peas
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef – In a bowl, combine beef slices with soy sauce, cornstarch, and 1 tsp oil. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Make the Sauce – Mix hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Stir well and set aside.
  3. Cook the Noodles – Boil noodles per package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  4. Stir-Fry the Beef – Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry beef in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Cook the Vegetables – In the same pan, add remaining oil and stir-fry bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, and snow peas until crisp-tender.
  6. Combine Everything – Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss. Add noodles and mix until well coated.
  7. Garnish and Serve – Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Protein Swap – Use chicken, shrimp, or tofu instead of beef.
  • Vegetable Options – Add mushrooms, baby corn, or bok choy.
  • Spicy Kick – Add more red pepper flakes or sriracha.
  • Gluten-Free – Use tamari instead of soy sauce and rice noodles.
