Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Boil egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease and transfer beef to a plate.
  4. Sauté Vegetables: Melt butter in the skillet. Add onions and cook until softened. Stir in garlic and mushrooms, cooking until tender.
  5. Make the Sauce: Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and mix well. Gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Add Creaminess: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, sour cream, and milk until smooth and well combined.
  7. Combine Ingredients: Return beef to the skillet, then mix in the drained egg noodles. Stir until coated in the sauce.
  8. Assemble: Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Top with shredded cheese.
  9. Bake: Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
