Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

For the Lemon Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven – Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard loaf pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream the Butter and Sugar – In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add Wet Ingredients – Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract, milk, and lemon zest.
  5. Combine – Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in Blueberries – Gently fold in blueberries to evenly distribute.
  7. Bake – Pour batter into loaf pan, smooth top, and bake for 50–60 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
  8. Cool – Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Prepare the Glaze – Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  10. Glaze & Serve – Drizzle glaze over cooled bread, slice, and enjoy!
