  • 1 medium head cabbage, chopped

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the cabbage – Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  3. Cook the beef – Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  4. Sauté the aromatics – Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until fragrant.
  5. Add tomatoes and seasonings – Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Combine with cabbage – Add the chopped cabbage and cooked rice. Mix well until combined.
  7. Transfer to baking dish – Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
  8. Top with cheese – Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  9. Bake – Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
