  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional, pistachios or walnuts)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Baguette:

    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush each with olive oil.
  • Toast the Bread:

    • Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
  • Prepare the Cherries:

    • In a bowl, mix chopped cherries with 1 tbsp honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Assemble the Crostini:

    • Spread goat cheese on each toasted baguette slice.
