- 4 cups frozen hashbrowns
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Mix Ingredients – In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Transfer to Baking Dish – Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Add Topping – Melt butter and mix it with crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs, then sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake – Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
