Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients – Slice beef against the grain. Chop broccoli, mince garlic and ginger.
- Make the Sauce – In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, broth, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Cook the Beef – Heat vegetable oil in a skillet/wok over medium-high heat. Sear beef for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove.
- Cook the Broccoli – In the same pan, add a little more oil and stir-fry broccoli for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Add Aromatics – Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Combine Everything – Return beef to the pan, pour in sauce, and stir to coat evenly.
- Simmer & Thicken – Let sauce cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened and beef is fully cooked.
- Final Touches – Drizzle sesame oil, garnish with green onions, and add red pepper flakes if desired.
