- 1 cup whole milk

- 1/4 cup cold water

- Honey or caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Gelatin: Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Heat the Cream and Milk: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is warm but not boiling.
- Incorporate the Gelatin: Remove from heat, add bloomed gelatin, and stir until fully dissolved.
- Add Flavoring: Stir in vanilla extract or vanilla bean seeds.
- Strain the Mixture: Pass through a fine-mesh sieve to remove undissolved bits.
- Pour into Molds: Divide evenly into ramekins or serving glasses. Let cool before covering with plastic wrap.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
- Serve: To unmold, dip ramekins briefly in warm water, then invert onto plates. Garnish with fresh berries, fruit compote, honey, or caramel sauce.

- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, covered.
- Best served cold; reheating is not needed.
