- 12 soft slider buns
- 6 oz deli-style ham, chopped
- 6 oz salami, chopped
- 6 oz pepperoni, chopped
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup banana peppers, diced
- 1/4 cup red onions, diced
- 1/2 cup Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine chopped ham, salami, and pepperoni. Add diced banana peppers, red onions, and Roma tomatoes.
- Drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar over the mixture. Add Italian seasoning and garlic powder, then toss well.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard (if using) on the bottom buns.
- Layer with provolone cheese, followed by the chopped meat mixture, then top with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil.
- Place the top buns over the sliders.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with grated Parmesan cheese and sesame seeds.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
- Let the sliders rest for a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.
