  • 12 soft slider buns
  • 6 oz deli-style ham, chopped
  • 6 oz salami, chopped
  • 6 oz pepperoni, chopped
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup banana peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chopped ham, salami, and pepperoni. Add diced banana peppers, red onions, and Roma tomatoes.
  3. Drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar over the mixture. Add Italian seasoning and garlic powder, then toss well.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard (if using) on the bottom buns.
  6. Layer with provolone cheese, followed by the chopped meat mixture, then top with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil.
  7. Place the top buns over the sliders.
  8. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with grated Parmesan cheese and sesame seeds.
  9. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  11. Let the sliders rest for a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.
