Description

Quick and easy Crispy Honey Garlic Salmon Bites with tender salmon coated in a crispy exterior and glazed in a sweet, savory honey garlic sauce. Ready in just 25 minutes, this versatile dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Salmon:
Remove the skin from the salmon fillets and cut into bite-sized cubes. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Create the Coating:
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the Salmon:
Toss salmon cubes in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating. Shake off excess.
  4. Heat the Pan:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry the Salmon:
Add the coated salmon cubes to the skillet, avoiding overcrowding. Fry 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
  6. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
Reduce skillet heat to low. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, water, and rice vinegar. Simmer 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Glaze the Salmon:
Return salmon bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Allow the sauce to caramelize for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve:
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, or chili flakes, if desired.
