Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Wash and trim the Brussels sprouts, removing any discolored leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.
- Season Sprouts: Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in a large bowl with olive oil. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix to coat evenly.
- Add Parmesan: Spread the Brussels sprouts cut side down on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Roast: Roast in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. The cheese should form a golden, crispy crust.
- Optional Broil: For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving dish. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Reheating: Reheat in a 375°F (190°C) oven or air fryer for 5–7 minutes for crispy results.
