  • Total Time: Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings 1x

Description

Enjoy soft, gooey Crock Pot Cinnamon Rolls with Cherry Pie Filling—an easy slow-cooker recipe perfect for breakfast or brunch. Sweet, cinnamony, and stress-free!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 oz cream cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crock Pot: Lightly grease the inside of the crock pot with butter or non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place half of them in the bottom of the crock pot.
  3. Add the Filling: Evenly spread the cherry pie filling over the first layer of cinnamon roll pieces.
  4. Create the Second Layer: Place the remaining cinnamon roll pieces over the cherry pie filling.
  5. Enhance the Flavor: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Drizzle this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  6. Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the rolls are fully cooked and fluffy.
  7. Prepare the Glaze: While the rolls are cooking, mix powdered sugar, milk, and optional cream cheese until smooth.
  8. Finish and Serve: Once the cinnamon rolls are done, drizzle with the prepared glaze and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Apple Pie Filling: Swap cherry pie filling with apple pie filling for a classic cinnamon-apple combination.
  • Caramel Drizzle: Add a caramel drizzle for extra sweetness and a rich, decadent touch.
  • Chocolate Chip Addition: Sprinkle chocolate chips between the layers for a delightful chocolate-cherry twist.
  • Nutty Crunch: Incorporate pecans or walnuts for added texture and flavor.
  • Maple Glaze: Use maple syrup in the glaze instead of milk for a unique, autumn-inspired taste.
