  • 68 slices American cheese or cheddar cheese
  • 68 hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ground Beef – In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease.
  • Transfer to Crockpot – Add the cooked beef to the slow cooker and mix in the chopped onion and minced garlic.
  • Add Seasonings and Sauces – Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Slow Cook – Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Melt the Cheese – In the last 15 minutes, place cheese slices over the beef mixture, cover, and let the cheese melt.
  • Prepare the Buns – Butter the hamburger buns and toast them in a skillet or oven until golden brown.
  • Assemble the Cheeseburgers – Spoon the cheesy beef mixture onto the toasted buns. Add pickles, lettuce, and tomato if desired.
