Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: Pat the beef dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Sear the Meat: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned, then transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. Sauté Aromatics: In the same pan, cook onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add to the slow cooker.
  4. Create the Sauce: Add beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well.
