Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare Shrimp: Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails on if desired. Pat dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook Garlic Butter Base: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
  • Make Cream Sauce: Lower heat, stir in heavy cream, and cook until slightly thickened. Add ¼ cup Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble Gratin: Place shrimp in an oven-safe dish and pour garlic cream sauce over them.
  • Prepare Topping: Mix breadcrumbs, olive oil, parsley, and remaining Parmesan in a bowl. Spread evenly over the shrimp.
