Description

Marry Me Chicken Ravioli is a creamy, indulgent dish featuring cheese-filled ravioli in a rich sun-dried tomato and parmesan sauce. Perfect for date nights or special occasions, this easy-to-make recipe is packed with flavor and sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese-filled ravioli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Add heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and let simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Add Cheese: Stir in grated parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce for a smooth, rich texture.
  6. Cook the Ravioli: In a separate pot, cook the cheese-filled ravioli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, then gently fold in the cooked ravioli. Stir until well coated with the creamy sauce.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with freshly chopped basil and additional parmesan cheese. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use different pasta – Swap ravioli for tortellini, gnocchi, or fettuccine for a twist on the dish.
  • Add vegetables – Toss in spinach, mushrooms, or cherry tomatoes for extra nutrition and flavor.
  • Make it spicy – Increase the red pepper flakes or add a dash of cayenne pepper for a kick.
  • Dairy-free option – Use coconut cream instead of heavy cream and nutritional yeast instead of parmesan.
