Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in the egg, strawberry extract, and food coloring until well combined.
- Combine Dry and Wet: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with milk, until a soft dough forms.
- Shape Dough: Roll dough into small balls and place on the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes until set but still soft.
- Add Chocolate Centers: Remove cookies from oven and immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into each cookie.
- Cool: Let cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
