Instructions

Cooking the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reserve about a cup of pasta water before draining the pasta.
  4. Set the cooked pasta aside.

Preparing the Steak Bites

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  4. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer and sear them for 1-2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside.

Making the Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add butter.
  2. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), cooking until fragrant.
  3. Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly.
  4. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and keep them warm.

Preparing the Creamy Parmesan Pasta

  1. In the same skillet, add a bit more butter if needed and pour in the heavy cream.
  2. Stir continuously, then slowly add grated Parmesan cheese, letting it melt into the sauce.
  3. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy Parmesan sauce until well coated.

Assembling the Dish

  1. Plate the creamy Parmesan pasta and top it with the garlic butter steak bites.
  2. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
