Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add potatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until just tender.
- Drain and set aside.
- Crisp the Potatoes:
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add potatoes in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and crispy.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the Steak Bites:
- While potatoes cook, season steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Heat remaining 1 tbsp olive oil in the same skillet over high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until a golden-brown crust forms. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Remove steak bites and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter:
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
- Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Combine and Finish:
- Return steak bites and crispy potatoes to the skillet.
- Toss everything in the garlic butter and cook for another minute to coat evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
