  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

 

  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Season chicken with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • Boil Tortellini & Broccoli: Bring salted water to a boil, cook tortellini as per package instructions. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add broccoli to blanch. Drain and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Add Cheese: Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  • Combine Everything: Add chicken, tortellini, and broccoli to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in sauce.

 

  • Season & Serve: Adjust seasoning if needed, garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
