- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients – Mince the garlic and ginger, chop the green onions, and measure out all sauce ingredients.
- Cook the Pork – Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add cooking oil. Add ground pork, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
- Add Aromatics – Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Prepare the Sauce – In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well.
- Combine Everything – Pour the sauce over the pork and stir to coat evenly. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Final Touches – Drizzle in sesame oil, then sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve and Enjoy – Pair with steamed rice, noodles, or lettuce wraps.
