- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1 lb ground beef (or preferred protein)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 6 tostada shells
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce, warmed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup sour cream
- Cooking oil or spray
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning with a splash of water. Cook until the beef is fragrant and coated. Set aside.
- Prepare the Tortillas:
- Warm tortillas in the microwave or on a dry skillet until pliable.
- Layer the Crunch Wrap:
- Lay a tortilla flat. Spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce in the center.
- Add a scoop of seasoned ground beef. Top with a tostada shell.
- Spread sour cream on the tostada shell. Add lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Fold the Tortilla:
- Fold the edges of the tortilla inward, pleating to fully enclose the fillings. Press gently to seal.
- Toast the Crunch Wrap:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with a light coating of oil.
- Place the crunch wrap seam-side down. Cook 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip and cook the other side.
- Repeat and Serve:
- Repeat for the remaining crunch wraps. Serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or extra cheese sauce.
