Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pork tenderloin (approx. 11.5 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pork Tenderloin
    • Trim the silver skin from the tenderloin and pat dry with paper towels.
    • Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear the Pork
    • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear the tenderloin on all sides until golden brown (2–3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
    • Lower the heat to medium and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
    • Sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Stir in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Let the sauce simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Cook the Pork
    • Return the tenderloin to the skillet, spooning sauce over it.
    • Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 8–12 minutes, turning occasionally.
    • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest and Slice
    • Remove the tenderloin from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
    • Slice into medallions and drizzle with remaining sauce.
  6. Serve
    • Pair with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or rice. Enjoy!
