- 6 cups rice or corn cereal squares (such as Chex)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup strawberry cake mix
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberry Coating – In a food processor, blend freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder. Mix with powdered sugar and strawberry cake mix in a large bowl.
- Melt the Chocolate – In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Coat the Cereal – Place cereal squares in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
- Toss with Strawberry Mixture – Transfer coated cereal into a large resealable bag or clean bowl. Add the strawberry-sugar mixture, seal, and shake until fully coated.
- Cool and Serve – Spread the puppy chow onto a lined baking sheet and allow the chocolate to set. Once cooled, serve and enjoy!
