- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
- ½ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried herbs (oregano or basil)

- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. Stir in sugar, salt, melted butter, and beaten egg. Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the Dough: Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, and dried herbs.
- Shape the Buns: Punch down the risen dough and divide into 10-12 portions. Flatten each piece, add cheese filling in the center, and seal tightly into a bun shape.
- Second Rise: Place buns on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush buns with egg wash. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
