- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Steak
- Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust based on preference).
- Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and sauté for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
- Reduce heat to medium, then add 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic.
- Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Step 4: Cook the Pasta
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and add to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat.
Step 5: Assemble the Dish
- Top pasta with cooked shrimp and sliced steak.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
