  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Steak

  1. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust based on preference).
  4. Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

  1. In the same skillet, add olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
  2. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and sauté for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  3. Remove shrimp and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce

  1. Reduce heat to medium, then add 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic.
  2. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.

Step 4: Cook the Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain and add to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat.

Step 5: Assemble the Dish

  1. Top pasta with cooked shrimp and sliced steak.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
