- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Brussels Sprouts – Trim the ends, remove yellowed leaves, and cut in half.
- Heat the Oil – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Sauté the Garlic – Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook Brussels Sprouts – Place them cut side down in the skillet and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Season – Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Finish & Serve – Drizzle with lemon juice and optionally top with Parmesan cheese or balsamic glaze. Serve warm.

- Bacon Infused: Use rendered bacon fat instead of olive oil.
