Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 oz fresh salmon, diced

- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 nori sheets, cut into thin strips
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
Preparing the Rice:
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions.
- In a small saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Stir into the cooked rice and let cool.
- Spread the rice onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, pressing into a 1-inch thick layer. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
Preparing the Salmon Mixture: 4. In a bowl, combine diced salmon, soy sauce, sriracha, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well and refrigerate.
Cooking the Crispy Rice: 5. Once firm, cut the rice into small squares or rectangles. 6. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry rice pieces until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Drain on a paper towel.
