For the Sliders:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup white onion, diced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
For the Special Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Special Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, pickle relish, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar.
- Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
Step 2: Cook the Beef Mixture
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook until the beef is fully browned, breaking it into crumbles with a spatula.
- Drain excess grease and set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Slider Rolls
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them intact as a sheet.
- Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
- Evenly spread the cooked beef over the rolls.
- Layer American cheese slices on top of the beef.
Step 4: Assemble and Bake
- Cover with the top half of the rolls.
- Melt butter and brush it over the tops of the sliders.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds for an authentic Big Mac look.
- Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and buns are golden.
Step 5: Add Toppings and Serve
- Remove from the oven and carefully lift the top of the buns.
- Spread the prepared special sauce over the cheese layer.
- Add shredded lettuce, diced onions, and sliced dill pickles.
- Place the top buns back and press gently.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
