Beef & Marinade:
- 12 oz thinly sliced beef (sirloin or flank steak)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch

- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 oz cooked noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- ½ cup bell peppers, thinly sliced (optional)
- ½ cup carrots, julienned (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Set aside.
- Cook the Beef: Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil, then cook the beef in batches, searing for 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Vegetables (if using): In the same pan, add a bit more oil and stir-fry bell peppers and carrots until slightly softened.
- Combine Everything: Return beef to the pan, pour in the prepared sauce, and stir to coat. Simmer for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Add the Noodles: Toss in the cooked noodles and mix well.
- Garnish & Serve: Top with chopped scallions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
