- 2 lobster tails, or 8 large shrimp, or 6 scallops
- 2 tbsp butter

- ½ lemon, juiced
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Optional Sauce:
- ¼ cup white wine (optional, for deglazing)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
1. Prep the Ingredients
- Bring the steak to room temperature (about 30 minutes).
- Pat seafood dry with paper towels for better searing.
- Mince garlic and prepare fresh herbs.
2. Cook the Steak
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season steak with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
- Sear for 3-4 minutes per side until a golden crust forms.
- Add butter, garlic, and rosemary/thyme, basting the steak for added flavor.
- Cook to desired doneness (125°F for rare, 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium).
- Let steak rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
3. Prepare the Seafood
- Butterfly lobster tails (if using).
- Heat butter and garlic in a pan over medium heat.
- Add seafood, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
- Cook shrimp/scallops for ~2 minutes per side or until opaque.
- Cook lobster tails for 5-6 minutes until fully opaque.
4. Make a Simple Sauce (Optional)
- Deglaze steak pan with white wine, reducing slightly.
- Stir in heavy cream, butter, and Parmesan, simmering until thickened.
5. Plate and Serve
- Arrange steak and seafood on a plate.
- Drizzle with extra butter or prepared sauce.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices.
