- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers or 2 hibiscus tea bags
- 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup coconut milk or almond milk
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Hibiscus Tea – Bring water to a boil and add dried hibiscus flowers or tea bags. Let steep for about 10 minutes, then strain and allow to cool completely.
- Blend the Smoothie – In a blender, combine the cooled hibiscus tea, pineapple chunks, banana, and coconut or almond milk. Blend until smooth.
- Sweeten if Needed – Taste the smoothie and, if desired, add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness. Blend again briefly.
- Adjust the Consistency – If too thick, add more hibiscus tea or coconut milk. If too thin, add ice cubes and blend until smooth.
- Serve & Garnish – Pour into glasses and garnish with chia seeds and fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
