Description

A naturally sweet and refreshing Tropical Hibiscus Tea Pineapple Smoothie, packed with antioxidants and tropical flavors. Dairy-free, vegan-friendly, and perfect for a healthy boost any time of day!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers or 2 hibiscus tea bags
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup coconut milk or almond milk
  • 12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Hibiscus Tea – Bring water to a boil and add dried hibiscus flowers or tea bags. Let steep for about 10 minutes, then strain and allow to cool completely.
  2. Blend the Smoothie – In a blender, combine the cooled hibiscus tea, pineapple chunks, banana, and coconut or almond milk. Blend until smooth.
  3. Sweeten if Needed – Taste the smoothie and, if desired, add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness. Blend again briefly.
  4. Adjust the Consistency – If too thick, add more hibiscus tea or coconut milk. If too thin, add ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  5. Serve & Garnish – Pour into glasses and garnish with chia seeds and fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Berry Infusion – Add fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries for a deeper fruity flavor.
  • Creamy Boost – Use Greek yogurt for added creaminess and protein.
  • Citrus Twist – A squeeze of lime or orange juice enhances the tropical notes.
  • Protein-Packed – Add a scoop of protein powder for a more filling smoothie.
  • Nutty Flavor – Blend in a tablespoon of almond or cashew butter for extra richness.
