Ingredients
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup apple butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup cinnamon-sugar mixture (for rolling)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
3️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugars – In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4️⃣ Incorporate Wet Ingredients – Mix in apple butter, vanilla extract, and eggs until well combined.
5️⃣ Combine Mixtures – Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
6️⃣ Shape the Cookies – Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
7️⃣ Bake – Place cookies 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set and tops are slightly cracked.
