Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just incorporated. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the top and finish with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon-sugar through the batter.
  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
