  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 lb potatoes, diced into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients
    • Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with a paper towel. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Set aside.
    • Dice the potatoes into small, uniform cubes.
  2. Cook the Potatoes
    • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the diced potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
    • Remove the potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Cook the Steak Bites
    • In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and increase heat to high.
    • Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
    • Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
    • Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
    • Once melted, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Combine Everything
    • Return the cooked potatoes and steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce.
    • Stir well to coat and cook for another 1-2 minutes to blend flavors.
  6. Garnish and Serve
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
