Ingredients

  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño or serrano pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Roma tomato, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Finely chop the red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and tomato. Mince the garlic.
  2. Mash the Avocados: Use a fork to mash the avocados to your desired consistency, either chunky or smooth.
  3. Mix in the Flavor: Add lime juice, chopped red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, tomato, and minced garlic to the bowl.
  4. Season to Taste: Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, and optional ground cumin. Stir everything together until well combined.
